Where are the barriers?
As I watched the academy awards I asked myself what barriers exist that we do not have the strength to overcome. Today's youth is faced with immense challenges however they have a arsenal of pioneers that show prove that they can excel if they take the initiative. If you are a teen what problems do you face that seem impossible to conquer. If you are the adult of a teen what do we need to do to instill some of the fight that our ancestors had in the youth?

Saving our youth.
There is a battle at hand. Our youth are being exterminated, deterred, and poisoned. The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the industrialized world. “Murders of Black Teens Are Up 39 Percent Since 2000-01. An estimated 4,883 young people received a diagnosis of HIV infection or AIDS, representing about 13% of the persons given a diagnosis during the year of 2004 what do you think the numbers are 6 years later? When will the madness stop what is the solution! How can we turn this horror story around ?

Dating vs Courting, what's the difference?
As I talk with teens regularly regarding many topics, the most controversial is built around relationships and their effects. Teen pregnancy is at an all time high nationally. My question to everyone is what are your thoughts regarding dating and courting? Is there a difference? What is the purpose? Are you pressured to date? What's too young?

What does your Image have to do with anything?
Image is Everything! Before you open your mouth in a crowded room you have been judged. In this society we are consumed with how we look. It's true that what is on the inside is the most important however, discounting the way that you are perceived by others could be a very costly choice. Companies spend billions of dollars each year using the image of celebrities that they feel will draw the public to their product or service. How much is your image worth? How much time do you put into carving your masterpiece? Do you think image is important at all why or why not?
