The History of Called2Serve

Called2Serve has been in existence in theory since 2000. The idea to form this organization that is focused on youth in the Chicagoland area began while Antwan Mchenry, Mckinley and Michelle Byrd were walking in the park. During their stint of unemployment in the year 2000, the three of them would go walking in the park at 7 am. They discussed the plight of our youth today, their struggles and what could be done to assist them. They decided to start a youth organization that would focus on self imaging, college preparation, tutoring, etiquette, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and many other areas the the educational system is having dificulty focusing on. They wanted the message to the youth to be that God loves them.
